WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Filmaking & Directing
An introduction to directing and the fundamentals of visual storytelling. Students explore shot composition, blocking, camera movements, and working with actors. They gain hands-on experience in setting up a scene, directing short sequences, and understanding the dynamics of a film crew. The course includes practical exercises with professional equipment. Perfect for those interested in directing and visual storytelling.
Screenwriting and storytelling
A course designed to teach the essentials of screenwriting, including structure, dialogue, and character development. Students learn to create compelling scripts and understand the basics of formatting and narrative pacing. The module covers script breakdowns and adaptation for different film genres. Participants develop their short scripts, which may be produced during the course. Ideal for future screenwriters and storytellers.
Set & Filmaking experience
A practical workshop where students participate in a full-scale film production. They apply what they’ve learned by collaborating on a short film, taking on roles in acting, directing, cinematography, or production. This real-set experience provides insight into professional workflows and teamwork dynamics. The final project is screened at the end of the course. Ideal for those who want to experience the full filmmaking process.
Editing & Post
An introduction to film editing and post-production techniques using industry-standard software. Students learn how to assemble and refine scenes, enhance storytelling through pacing, and apply sound design and visual effects. The course also covers the basics of color correction and audio synchronization. Hands-on exercises include editing short scenes shot during the program. A great module for those interested in the technical side of filmmaking.
Voice & movement
This module enhances vocal projection, articulation, and physical awareness for acting. Students work on breathing techniques, voice modulation, and expressive movement to strengthen their performances. The course includes improvisation, body dynamics, and exercises to increase stage presence. Special attention is given to adapting voice and movement to different film and TV genres. Essential for actors who want to develop full-body expressiveness.
Acting for camera
This module focuses on the techniques required to act naturally in front of the camera. Students work on scene study, emotional authenticity, and adapting performances for different camera angles and setups. They learn to develop character depth, handle on-set directions, and adjust their acting to various cinematic styles. Practical exercises include recorded scenes and playback analysis. Ideal for those who want to refine their screen acting skills.
