What does the Show, Theatre & Performance course consist of?

A practical course for actors and performers who want to work in theatre, live events and shows. Students learn acting techniques, stage movement, use of voice and improvisation. The course includes public performances and performance projects in theatrical and multidisciplinary contexts.

Acting, theatre and performance

A practical course to develop acting skills in theatre and live performances. Students work on interpretation, stage presence, improvisation and character construction. The course includes exercises on classical and contemporary texts, as well as public performances. Different acting techniques are explored, from expressionism to physical theatre. Stage movement and biomechanics

A course dedicated to the actor's body awareness to improve stage presence. Students explore theatrical biomechanics, body control in space and the physical relationship with the text and other actors. We work on coordination, movement dynamics and gestural expressiveness. The course includes practical exercises, improvisation and physical theatre techniques. Fundamental to refine competence and body control.

Department of Voice Studies

use of the voice for theater and performance. Students learn breathing techniques, diction, projection and vocal modulation. The course includes exercises on rhythm, intensity and sound awareness, with a focus on singing and vocal interpretation. We also work on the relationship between voice and stage movement. Ideal for actors, voice actors and performers who want to enhance their vocal instrument.

History of the show and acting

the evolution of theater and acting, from its origins to the present day. Students study the great scenic traditions, the main acting methods and innovations in theatrical language. The course includes the analysis of texts, directors and artistic movements that have influenced the world of entertainment. The transformation of the role of the actor over time is also explored. Ideal for those who want to understand acting through its historical and cultural development.

*The first year is dedicated to the study of the actor and his expressive tools: body, voice and management of emotions. The second year focuses on the actor and the character, deepening the analysis of the text, interpretation and work on film sets. In the third year, students face specific production paths, putting into practice the skills acquired through theatrical performances and professional audiovisual productions.
